January-1-2010Happy New Hear! I just did a bit of tweaking in the Gallery. Added some pictures from my sister-in-law's wedding from over a year ago as well as a few new images I had sitting on my desktop to be added for months.June-23-2009Added another How-To in the Amateur Radio Section.June-12-2009I have added a new sub-section to my Amateur Radio section. It's called How-To's. I am working on putting up some detailed instructions on how to do various tasks in Amateur Radio geared toward projects. Check them out.June-5-2009Found another pic of myself and added it to the website.June-1-2009Changed NWS Audio Stream from Fort Worth (162.550MHz) to Dallas (162.400MHz). Also testing a different antenna and looking at buying an audio compressor to improve audio quality for both streams.May-18-2009Moved all my old News and Announcements to an Archive. Check them out there.I also re-arranged my home page to make it smaller and neater. June-24-2008The MP3 Stream Source Server is fully operational now. It was quite a little journey, but it is done now. System is formatted back to FreeBSD 6.3, as the sound cards were not working under FreeBSD 7.0.It's the weirdest thing, the drivers were loaded into the kernel, the cards registered in dmesg and /dev/sndstat, they created the mixer devices, but absolutly no /dev/dsp. As a result I could not interface with the cards to read the audio.News Archive |
