Amateur Radio |
Listen!
As much for my own use as anyone elses, I have configured a streaming audio server and two different feeds. These streams are both 48kbps MP3 Mono, so they should stream fairly well.National Weather Service in Fort Worth, TX Transmitting on 162.400 MHz. This is the Dallas Transmitter (KEC56)
Stream: http://www.namebrandhandle.net/amateur-radio/nws.m3u
www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/
Metrocrest Amateur Radio Society 145.210 MHz Repeater in Carrollton, TX.
Stream: http://www.namebrandhandle.net/amateur-radio/mars.m3u
www.kb5a.org
Instructions:
If clicking the link does not bring up your player and start streaming automatically, then follow these steps:- Hover mouse over link.
- Right Click and select 'Copy Link' or 'Copy Shortcut'.
- Open a media player capable of using streaming mp3, such as Windows Media Player, Winamp, XMMS, etc.
- Select File, then Open URL.
- Paste the link from your clipboard into the dialog box, and select Open/OK.
This should work for most instances, but is by no means a definitive guide. Please consult your program's help files or Google for futher instruction.
