Replaced the secondary SATA controller with a new one that is working great now. Apparently the SIIG controller was supported, but faulty. The new Promise SATA300tx4 is working.March-26-2009

The MP3 Stream Source Server is fully operational now. It was quite a little journey, but it is done now. System is formatted back to FreeBSD 6.3, as the sound cards were not working under FreeBSD 7.0. It's the weirdest thing, the drivers were loaded into the kernel, the cards registered in dmesg and /dev/sndstat, they created the mixer devices, but absolutly no /dev/dsp. As a result I could not interface with the cards to read the audio.June-23-2008

Today I picked up a SIIG PCI SATA controller and a new SATA drive to replace the two IDE drives I had die. Too bad the system keeps crashing when I try to use the new drive. I'll have to work on this to figure our why, but I suspect the SIIG controller is not compatable with FreeBSD 6.2, so I guess I'll update to 7.0.June-19-2008
Apparently I had a hard-drive that failed in such a way that even being connected to the IDE bus without power to the drive was enough to corrupt the entire controller and every drive connected to it. After removing this drive the system started to act normally, just down two drives.June-18-2008
The MP3 stream source server is down, and will be for a while. It is getting unexplained kernel panics that I have yet to determine the cause of.June-9-2008

I have just finished a new color template for the site. This allowed me to have more room at the top of the page for additional menh1> items, and ease of transferring to another color scheme in the future.I also have added a new section, 'Jokes'. This section has email jokes that I have received in the past, and other interesting stories. It's just a way to share the good stuff with you.

I have added a few new pages to the Gallery, added a few links to the Links page, revised the About Us page, and fixed a few typos that I had found on the site. Also fixed the Weather.com image leeching problem that I was having.May-13-2003
I have now added a Weather section with lots of links to radar and satellite images, as well as a very helpful page on the NWS website about the different types of radar pictures.A Signatures page has also been added, showing some recent artwork I have created.

I have been tweaking the color scheme, and I think I like this scheme better. I have also changed the font and style for my alphabet.I have added two more pages under columns as well. Two disclaimers that I have discovered while out surfing the world wide web, and have adopted for use. Just figured I would share them with you.

Well, I have finally gotten around to updating the layout of the site. This new layout is mainly a cosmetic workup. I am not finished with it, however, it should be good enough to get us by.The Gallery will be offline for a while, as I have changed a few things in my network, and do not yet feel that I am finished, so I will not be taking any pictures for a while.
Also, the MadOnion page is no more. I will however move the signature images into the Gallery, whenever I get around to working on the Gallery.
